How do I schedule an appointment?

What do I need to do in advance of the evaluation?

  • Send us your Statement of Reasons;
  • We will send you documents to fill out/sign and return to us;
  • If you have additional supporting documents for your case, we will ask you to send them when you return the documents; 

  • It is helpful for you to have details regarding your case on hand for the evaluation (e.g. employment dates, 
graduation dates, incident dates).


What does the evaluation entail?

  • All evaluations are conducted on a secure video-conference application;

  • We use Zoom for our evaluations which requires you have a web-camera;
  • You can use a Smart Phone, Tablet, or Laptop;
  • Evaluations take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours;

  • Standardized questionnaires are used for substance use and mental health issues;

  • Clients receive a verbal explanation of the determination at the end of the session.

  • All sessions are protected by HIPPA and therapist-client privilege.

What is the final product?

  • After the evaluation, a "Letter of Determination" is produced addressed and sent to your attorney;

  • The report includes information regarding client mitigation, diagnoses if any, and potential recommendations.


How do I pay for your services?

  • Your credit card is required for all services.;
  • Payment must be made in advance;
  • You are not charged until the day of your evaluation.


How much time for the report to be done?

  • Your Letter of Determination will be produced and sent to your attorney within 4 to 5 days after the evaluation;
  • Expedited evaluations are guaranteed delivery in 48 hours.

What do I need to submit for any of the Web Services?

  • Send us your First Name, Middle Name, Last Name; your      home address and Year of Birth Only – Do NOT send your Social Security Account Number or Full DOB.
  • Provide us your email address and cell telephone number and home phone number
  • Are you applying for a clearance or is this a renewal?      

  • It is helpful for you to have details regarding your case on hand for the evaluation (e.g. employment dates, 
graduation dates, incident dates)

Can you delete any incorrect data?

  

  • Sorry – The Berlin Group, LLC, cannot delete your data. Data can only be removed by      the creator of the data, the publisher of the data or the host of the data – but never by a third-party; 
  • Online data is perpetually maintained unless protected under specific federal laws      such as the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Graham-Leach-Bliley Act, the Driver’s Protection Privacy Act. These have stringent guidelines regarding the length of time that data is maintained. These laws are complex and may vary from State-to-State. We recommend you contact your attorney to obtain clarification;
  • Generally speaking, Social Media data is never deleted, and there are even some      services that “record” the entire digital platform of a Social Media site every several hours and then optimize that information with other products to create transformed data products. 

Is this a Credit Recording Agency or Private Investigations Agency?

  •  Absolutely not. Credit Reporting Agencies are strictly regulated under both State and Federal Law and The Berlin Group, LLC, does not have access to or sell credit reports; 
  • We are not a private investigation agency and do not do background investigations or research on any third party. 

What happens if I am not happy with the results?

  

  • We always try our hardest to make sure that clients are satisfied with the results of      searches. The Berlin Group, LLC, team has done thousands of these kinds of searches and if the data exists – we will get it, and we will deliver it promptly;
  • Feel free to write to us, give us feedback, ask us questions, make suggestions, or ask      for guidance and support. We are here for you, and our number one priority is to make sure that you are prepared and do not make mistakes when doing your SF 86, your interview, or preparing for a DOHA Investigation.

What is the final product?

  • All reports are in PDF format, Password Protected and Encrypted. You create your own Password at the time of our order. We do not keep or maintain any passwords.  All     reports are deleted 7 days after they are transmitted - we do not store or maintain any data reports;
  • All reports are transmitted via an encrypted, Password Protected, email server.

What is the turnaround time?

  • Digital Fingerprint:                                        4 to 8 hours
  • Social Media Search:                                     8 to 12 hours
  • Full SF86 Remediation Identity Report:  12 to 24 hours
  • Turnaround time begins once your order is received and approved.

How do I pay for your services?

  • Your credit card is required for all services;
  • Payment must be made in advance;
  • Once an order is accepted and approved, it cannot be reversed. 
  • All sales are final and once the reports are sent to the client, there are no refunds

Can you do searches on anyone?

  • No. We can only do searches on Cleared Persons; persons seeking a US Government Clearance;  renewal of a Clearance; or persons that are subject to a Statement of      Reasons (SOR) who are represented by counsel; 
  • All clients must give written consent for each search and consent is good for only 7      days, and then it is terminated. The consent is valid only for those searches that are ordered and none other;
  • Consent is not transferable to any other entity, organization or company. 

Do you offer other searches or services?

  Yes. There are many different kinds of searches that can be done on a customized basis. For example, we have been asked to: 


  • Locate foreign nationals in order to provide details on the SF 86; 
  • Locate foreign corporations and identify its owners and operators; 
  • Obtain unlisted phone numbers of former roommates, friends, neighbors, business      associates, former employers, and others that need to be entered into the SF 86 so that it is complete;
  • Obtain email addresses of former employers, bosses, or other needed contact      details; 


Give us the data problem and we will find you an answer if one exists. If we do not have the answer, we will do the research to get it for you. So long as it is reasonably related to the execution of the SF 86 process, or to assist in your defense and on behalf of your attorney – we will try and find a solution.
